My Personal Journey
Overcoming Adversity
My story of faith in learning to trust God is still fresh in my mind and
in my heart. In 2022, I learned firsthand how life can change in a blink
of an eye. In 2024, Jesus touched my heart to go pray for children in
the hospitals. I met with my family in Christ, and we put together a
plan. Right before starting, I was diagnosed with a tumor. I took the
diagnostic graciously and with courage because I knew that to help
others, I needed to be certified.
The process was painful and exhausting. I’m now post-surgery and
clear of the cancer and I have grown in faith, compassion, love,
tolerance, confidence, and acceptance.
